I will not read installments of one story presented as "books."
This author's name goes on my list of authors to avoid.
There are many authors out there who know how to write one story in one book, so why bother with those who try to rope readers into CLIFF HANGERS so we'll have to buy more to get a conclusion.
Surprise! The stories presented this way are most often not good enough to care what happens next.

I always like her books have several hard backs and now finding them on my kindle.. I am very pleased with the characters as well as the story line and of course I Wil l continue to purchase any of her books or e-books.
This is the second book I've read by Ms. Stewart. Both books were exceedingly hard to put now. I know some folks complained about this book because it didn't end, it was a lead-in to another book. Well, so what, if you bought this book on , it didn't cost you a penny, and the following book to is dirt cheap! But it's not about that. Ms. Stewart seems to be an unknown talent (not for long). Her characters are real, and you could identify with all of them. They all had issues that they never shared with the audience except in their own 'personal' excerpts. This was an excellent book, as was her first book, Flowers in the Snow. It's on a completely different topic, but that was an excellent book too! While I didn't like the main character, Devin, at first, you grew to understand him. He seemed like a conceited jerk, and even he knew he came across like that. But than I think, if I had been in prison for 11 years for a crime I didn't commit, wouldn't I have been bitter. Fantastic writer and fantastic book!
Suspense, intrigue and hope occur throughout the books. Plot moves along and encourages one to keep reading! The existing evil is destroyed, initially for the wrong reasons but a turn around occurs with positive outcomes in the character development of one individual.
An unusual love story. Rebecca has lived in Clover all of her life and would love for the small town to go back to the way it was when she was younger. She fell for a classmate in high school; he is sent to prison for something he didn't do and he comes back to town to change it but not to make it better. They still have feelings for each other but a lot of issues to resolve. There are other characters such as Click, Hoyt and Ryan all of them are interesting and important one way or another to the story.
An interesting story with a different spin on it.
Half a heart is like this HALF A BOOK.
It left me very upset that this did not finish the story.
This was a great high suspense romance with wonderful characters and lots of action. I did not like the ending since it turned out to be a lead in to the next book With everything left hanging.
These are not well written chapters.....What appears to be 2 books are actually 2 parts of a story about revenge. This plot ends openly so you can buy the 3rd part of the story. This plot lacks heart and logical development. Characterization is sparse and flat. By writing sections based on the viewpoint of the individual character, the plot flow is irregular. I do not recommend this for purchase.
